Brett was very helpful in the design stage and provided lots of great advice and support. The carport was delivered and looks great. We had some minor issues with damaged panels on supply, but Brett spoke with the local supplier and the items were replaced at no cost within a few days. With mine I ordered it a bit longer so I can get my trailer in front of the car so everything looks tidy from the street. Brett was always there if you needed any information at all. Do your Carports and Sheds meet Australian Building Code regulations?

Yes, carports and sheds supplied by Modern Steel Buildings are all signed and certified by registered Australian engineers, and all designs comply with the Building Code of Australia and the National Construction Code (NCC).

Will Steel prices continue to rise?

Bluescope steel has been rising the price of steel significantly in recent times. We have seen major price increases that are coming through approximately twice per year. So, the answer is yes. While we are seeing inflation increase the cost of everything, including transport and manufacturing, there is a good chance we will see further price increases during the year ahead.

Is Modern Steel Buildings Australian Owned?

Modern Steel Buildings is a 100% family owned Australian business. We do not import products and we will only service our customers with Australian or New Zealand steel suppliers and manufacturers, such as Bluescope Steel & Selection Steel.

What Warranty will I get with my steel building?

When you buy a shed or carport through Modern Steel Buildings, you are eligible for a warranty of up to 15 years manufacturers product warranty. Warranties are available on all steel supplied through Selection Steel® and Bluescope Steel®, including all painted products; including Colorbond® and Unicote®.
