Introducing an attractive and stylish freestanding carport from Australia’s trusted steel experts. It is built to last and easy to assemble. Made using COLORBOND® and ZINCALUME® steel, it is available in various sizes and finishes.

Size: 6×6 – 6m wide x 6m deep, Two car Double Size.
Height: 2.45m at the front, 2.25m tall at the back (clearance heights)
Posts: If in-ground footing, posts will be delivered at 3m lengths. If bolt down footings, posts will be delivered at 2.7m lengths.
Footings: In-ground footings of 600mm (typically) or bolt-down footing using a welded base plate on the column.
Colours: Various colorbond colours available
Frame: Frame members are boxed section steel and supplied in all colour powder coated steel for frame and posts.

This cheap double carport model is freestanding only.

Modern style roof sheeting in Trimdeck profile.
90mm x 90mm Steel Posts come in 3m lengths.
Standard footings are column cast-in ground.
Bolt down footings are an extra $250.
Guttering and barge capping with 1 PVC down-pipe.
All connectors, fasteners, and hardware for assembly.
Wind rating- N3(W41) higher wind speed designs available at extra cost.
For cyclonic carports, the dimensions will change to 6125mm x 5650mm.

What is the difference between a Cyclonic and a Non-Cyclonic Carport?

If you are in north QLD in wind region C, you must build your carport to cyclonic standards. Cyclone regions include Bundaberg, Mackay, Townsville, Cairns and all areas in between.

The Non-Cyclonic design will suit you if you are in any other area of Australia. Many customers choose the Cyclonic design for the upgrade of strength and peace of mind.

The non-cyclonic Carport is designed using 150mm box section Lysaght Firmlock beams. This carport will be supplied with Lysaght’s Trimdeck roof sheets and can be ordered in any colour from www.colorbond.com: $3,995 plus $180 delivery.
Cyclonic Carport is designed using 200mm box section Lysaght Firmlock beams. This carport will be supplied with Lysaght’s Spandeck roof sheets and can be ordered in any colour from www.colorbond.com for $5,495 plus $180 delivery.
